Linda
Clements-Urick‘s appreciation for the power of the mind began
as a young girl growing up in southeast Arkansas when she
realized that all of her “daydreams” were actually being
realized. Linda now uses her knowledge and expertise to help
others nurture and develop their own mental abilities to realize
lifelong dreams and achieve goals in ways they had never dreamed
possible.
In private
practice since 1998, Linda believes that “life doesn’t
happen to us, it happens from us.” The proof lies with the
shy, introverted teenager who announced after 7 sessions that
she had just been elected president of her class or a
high-powered producer who overcame a childhood fear after only
one visit. “Once a client learns to tap into their own
ability, there are no limits to success.”
Linda holds
certifications in hypnotherapy, NLP and a mastery in Therapeutic
Imagery and continues to expand her knowledge base each year.
She has specialty certifications in Smoking Cessation and Weight
Loss and is currently writing a series of articles on hypnosis
related subjects. She has been featured on the discovery Health
Channel and the Fine Living Channel for her work in smoking
cessation and fears/phobias, and has written and recorded Medical
Applications of Hypnosis and Imagery for one of the largest
audio libraries for medical professionals in the U. S.
As the list of
successful and happy clients continues to grow, Linda remains
grateful for the opportunity she received at the Hypnosis
Motivation Institute, where she graduated with honors, was the
recipient of the HMI Clinical Achievement Award and taught
personal development classes.
With a B.S.E.
in public speaking and 13 years as a professional actress, Linda
enjoys sharing her knowledge of mind dynamics and personal
development with business and community organizations as a
speaker. She offers phone and private, face-to-face sessions and
personalized CD’s.
